### Start Hadoop:

start-dfs.sh

start-yarn.sh

### Stop Hadoop

stop-dfs.sh

stop-yarn.sh

### Or below command start all:

start-all.sh

### One command to stop all:

stop-all.sh

To check Hadoop instance, run:

jps

```
4992 SecondaryNameNode
4517 NameNode
5179 ResourceManager
4700 DataNode
5532 NodeManager
59982 jps
```

This Hadoop instance has 5 java processes:

yarn processes:

NodeManager

ResourceManager

NameNode, SecondaryNameNode are name node, which is master node

DataNode
